(btw this is a bug report, not an "idea")
Note the wrong highlight of "$a[f" inside the string
Oh come on, I can't upload a screenshot??
Oh now I do have an "idea": replace this thing with a proper bug tracker1 vote
While this is wrong, your code is also wrong. The highlighter uses the exact same rules as PHP itself. The correct version (of your code) also highlights fine: https://3v4l.org/OjbNS
::class produced hidden zero-code chapter;
Output for 7.2.3
Output for 7.2.2
The editor box reports a syntax error for "finally".
However, the code (since PHP 5.5.0) works just fine.1 vote
Thanks for reporting this. I am aware of this issue, but the highlighter is out of my control (I am unable to fix this).

If this gets fixed in the official repo, I’ll happily update

Would useful to know a.g. when a bug in 3.5 has been fixed in 3.6+1 vote
I agree, unfortunately hhvm has a stupid issue where it fails whenever I enable more then 3-4 versions. It’s some sort of memory leak I can’t fix
not collapsed result block11 votes
If you click the header (the list of versions) the result-block will stay open
// In response to http://www.php.net/manual/en/language.constants.predefined.php#113130
// In fact, you can define magic constants too.
(@__DIR__ == '__DIR__') && define('__DIR__', dirname(__FILE__));
echo "result of var_dump(__DIR__):\r\n";
I would like to help out; but I’m not sure what your question is. Is there anything wrong with the output of the script?
A bug tracker, where one would report bugs rather than "suggest ideas"1 vote
There isn’t much use for a bugtracker; the only properties of a bugtracker we would use are ‘script’, ‘problem’ and ‘status’. All of these are also available through uservoice
